What would you do as a Customer Service Documentation Specialist

As a Customer Service Documentation Specialist at HME Specialists, you will play a vital role in ensuring the care and well-being of our patients. Your responsibilities will include obtaining and requesting medical authorizations, accurately logging in authorizations and prescriptions, and following up as needed to ensure the billing process is completed seamlessly. Additionally, you will be responsible for fulfilling pick-up requests to ensure timely delivery of essential medical supplies. Your attention to detail and commitment to thorough documentation will contribute to the overall success of our customer service team.

What we're looking for in a Customer Service Documentation Specialist

To be successful as a Customer Service Documentation Specialist at HME Specialists, you should possess a go-getter attitude and a team-player personality. While previous knowledge of medical insurance processes is preferred, it is not mandatory as we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success in the role. Proficiency in using various software and tools to complete documentation tasks will be required, along with the ability to adapt to new systems as needed.
