JOB SUMMARY

BattleCreek Kids exists to glorify God by helping all kids, all the time, advance in their journey with Christ.

The Kids PM Manager oversees the special events Kids ministry, birth through 5th grade, at each location of BattleCreek Church. They will lead a staff team that executes the experience and manage the implementation of systems that create a safe, fun ministry for kids and parents. They will work with campus leads to achieve specific goals and work with the Kids Content Creator to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum.

POSITION SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Recruit, develop, and oversee staff for BattleCreek Kids PM ministry and special events
  • Assist in developing and implement curriculum that includes biblical teachings, worship, and age-appropriate activities
  • Build strong relationships with the campus leads & other Kids staff
  • Communicate feedback to campus leads to create efficiency for processes and systems at each location
  • Provide a high level of execution that ensures success for the experience of BattleCreek Kids PM and special events
  • Perform other church duties as assigned

Communication: Keeps Supervisor and/or Human Resources informed of significant problems (legal or liability threat) that jeopardize the achievement of objectives.

Continuous Improvement: Possesses talent, desire, passion, servant leadership and initiative to take position and department(s) to the next level while continuing the learning process to ensure the very best possible team, department and work environment.

Supervision: Consistently leads direct reports with excellence and focus on continuous improvement and in line with vision and values as described in the job description.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • BA in Education or similar relevant field, preferred but not required
  • At least 2-4 years’ experience in education, preferred but not required
  • Experience working in ministry or non-profit, preferred but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position operated in a professional office environment but may require the following physical demands: general lifting of materials up to 20 pounds, bending kneeling, carrying, walking, and using hands/fingers to handle items. May include days where hours sitting at a computer are needed. Ability to acclimate to weather for outdoor events as needed.
