As an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and safe environment for infants aged 6 weeks to 17 months. You will play a crucial role in the development and growth of infants by implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Your role is to ensure each child feels loved, respected, and supported in their early learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:
Create a Safe Environment: Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for infants by adhering to health and safety guidelines and maintaining a tidy classroom.
Care for Infants: Provide attentive care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and engaging infants in meaningful interactions.
Implement Curriculum: Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans that encourage development in areas such as motor skills, language, and social-emotional growth.
Observe and Record: Monitor and document infants' progress and development through observation and assessments, maintaining accurate records for each child.
Communicate with Parents: Maintain open and positive communication with parents or guardians, providing updates on their childs progress, activities, and any concerns.
Collaborate with Team: Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and cohesive educational environment.
Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience: Previous experience working with infants or young children in a childcare or educational setting preferred.

Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with infants.
Ability to multitask and adapt to the needs of individual children.
Familiarity with developmental milestones and early childhood education practices.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry infants and young children up to [weight limit] pounds.
