Fort Benton, Montana is home to IND HEMP's two processing facilities: one dedicated to the processing of hemp oilseed and the other focused on industrial hemp fiber products. Each operation is purpose-build to provide industrial hemp food, feed and fiber products across a variety of applications and industries while providing our farmers with multiple revenue stream and contract production opportunities.

Job Title: Warehouse and Inventory Technician

Location: Fort Benton, MT

Position Description: The Warehouse and Inventory Technician will assist with all aspects of logistics throughout the supply chain for IND HEMP. The Warehouse and Inventory technician will be responsible for organizing and providing transportation solutions for all inbound and outbound shipments and assist the Supply Chain Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation
  • Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures
  • Preparing and staging outgoing shipments including packaging products
  • Review Production records and adjust inventory numbers
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Create and prepare transfer shipments between facilities.
  • Assist in Packaging testing for new products
  • Monitor and report consumables inventory levels to help maintain healthy stock
  • Assist Supply Chain Supervisor with purchase order receipts and sales order fulfillment
  • Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
  • Track and monitor incoming and outgoing orders
  • Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues
  • Answering customer queries
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Weigh inbound and outbound loads
  • Help with production as needed

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's inventory management systems.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Degree in business administration, logistics or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics management required.
