  1. Develop, design, maintain, and install automation and control systems for industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance 
  2. Create logic and programming for PLCs, drive systems, and combustion control systems to enhance efficiency 
  3. Design SCADA and operator interface applications for seamless system monitoring and control 
  4. Develop databases and custom computer programs for PLC and SCADA interfaces to facilitate data management 
  5. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components using standard procedures, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly 
  6. Prepare project manuals and electrical schematics using CAD software for documentation 
  7. Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, and budgets for electrical systems to ensure project feasibility
  8. Acquire in-depth knowledge of SCR systems, including fluid systems, metallurgy, and maintenance, to provide expert assistance 
  9. Assist with on-site commissioning of SCR systems and transfer expertise to customers through training and presentations.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 9 years’ experience in chemical or manufacturing industries, with expertise in industrial processing equipment, instrumentation, and control systems 
  • Proficiency in Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC and drive systems 
  • CAD experience with AutoCAD 
  • Experience with SCADA systems, HMI applications, computer programming, networking, and database management 
  • Ability to maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and communicate effectively 
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 35% of the time.
