The Integration Lead is responsible for organizing, planning, and prioritizing Integration work in the shop as well as repairing, modifying and troubleshooting used manufacturing equipment resulting in delivering quality machinery and service to our customers.  

 

Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments and delegate to the assigned team based on job priority
  • Manage/Receive incoming parts and components, and ensure all items are delivered to appropriate areas
  • Work with the engineering team to ensure drawing sets are completed for the shop team.
  • Ensure equipment is properly disassembled and prepped for re-install at customer site
  • Help develop installation plans for integration projects, and assign resources accordingly
  • Work directly with the Integration project manager to ensure Integration projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Work with the Shop Lead to monitor employees' work load and review work performance on a routine basis
  • Provide technical support to the sales team and acquisitions for various projects and machine selection 
  • Provide hands-on support to shop technicians in regards to troubleshooting projects and assisting in repairs.
  • Retool machinery as required to meet customer requirements.
  • Examine machinery parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
  • Re-assemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
  • Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices.
  • Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.
  • Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from observation to diagnose equipment problems.
  • Record repairs and improvements performed on the work order tracking system.
  • Take part in maintaining the parts inventory management system


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Strong working knowledge of pneumatics and electricity
  • Troubleshooting
  • Critical thinking
  • Equipment selection
  • Mechanical aptitude/ability
  • Programmable processor ability is a plus
  • Experience working in an industrial environment
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel


Education and Experience:


  • 10+ Years of experience and/or training in machine repair and/or maintenance
  • High school graduate  – some college or technical school required or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of this position
