 Job Summary — The Office Manager will be responsible for accounting functions for the office, maintaining the office, ensuring supplies and the facility are in order, and acting as a liaison between staff and the Human Resources Manager as needed.

             As a Staff Accountant, this person is responsible and accountable for:
  • Prepare timely billings to customer, monitor/ensure timely payment, and make collections calls as required.
  • Assist with Year-end Inventory.
  • Job billing and creation of AIA billing documents.
  • Financial statement preparation.
  • Monthly sales tax and other taxes as calculated by CIH.
  • Month end reconciliation, year-end and closing journal entries.
  • Bank Deposits.
  • Creation of Customer new accounts.
  • ACH fraud prevention - review of positive pay exceptions.
  • Lien Waivers.
  • Bank reconciliations.
Additional duties for office management include but are not limited to:
  • Assist with Human Resources: new hire orientations, communicating staff issues to HR Manager, and other duties as assigned.
  • Assist with Year-end Inventory.
  • Duties as assigned by the General Manager, Controller, or CFO.
Essential Functions
  • Accounting.
  • Payroll.
  • Human Resources liaison functions.
  • Using office equipment to complete tasks.
  • Timely and professional correspondence through email.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Assisting with phones as needed.
Experience & Other Requirements
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similarly related field required.
  • Pre-employment background screening.
  • No issue with repetitive use of fingers and hands, standing, squatting, bending and lifting up to 20lbs.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in Accounting.
  • Ability to use office equipment (printers, copiers, fax machines, mailing equipment, etc..)
