About the Client: We are seeking a companion for a 24-year-old female with Down Syndrome and a speech impairment. We are looking for someone to engaging her in various activities and help her learn new skills.

Responsibilities:


  • Teach and reinforce life skills such as personal care, time management, and social interaction.
  • Assist with meal preparation, including planning and cooking nutritious meals.
  • Accompany and participate in community activities such as bowling, mini-golf, and trips to the park.
Qualifications:


  • Experience working with individuals with Down Syndrome or other disabilities is preferred.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Check.
Schedule:

  • Part time
  • 10 hours a week
