HemaSource in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking an Inventory Control Manager responsible for maintaining an organized inventory stock and an orderly warehouse for our medical supplies. This critical role evaluates all processes as they relate to maintaining an accurate level of inventory, and makes the necessary adjustments to consistently achieve excellent accuracy. Additionally, this role is in charge of the set up, maintenance, and management of the cycle count module in the HemaSource WMS. The Inventory Control Manager reports to the site Director of Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the inventory control activities within assigned area(s) such as inventory counts, reporting, system maintenance, etc.
  • Responsible to perform daily cycle counts. Including cycle count module setup, maintenance, and operation to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Work with cross-functional departments as necessary to coordinate inventory management activities and to ensure prompt and timely resolution of any issues.
  • Review inventory adjustments and research high cost/quantity impact adjustments and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Work in collaboration with the Accounting department to post inventory counts, along with researching and resolving inventory variances accordingly.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with the inventory processes (i.e., cycle/physical counts, lot numbers, expiration dates, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting and maintenance of inventory records; ensure timely responses to inquiries and resolution of any issues (i.e., product condition, dates, quantities available, etc.).
  • Review item slotting for effectiveness, proper execution, and operational efficiencies; coordinate product location assignments (physical location and warehouse system maintenance).
  • Partner with other inventory control managers to develop inventory processes to ensure high levels of accuracy throughout the company.
  • Responsible to collect, manage and report all MRB required data on a monthly basis.
  • Create an environment that maintains the highest level of quality performance possible as it relates to inventory control.

Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative, warehouse, and inventory control experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
  • Able to simultaneously manage a very high level of detail across multiple projects.
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure.
  • Able to work well within a team environment, offer assistance and support to team members whenever necessary.
  • Ability to interact well within company departments and build a team that creates a culture that exemplifies our core values.
  • Commitment to act with the highest level of honesty and integrity with all levels of the internal organization and external vendors, customers, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently once goals and direction are set.
  • Commitment to be consistent with timeliness and attendance.
  • Ability to create and interpret data to determine direction.
  • Understanding of Lean and/or Six Sigma Principles.
  • Ability to learn current processes and implement process changes.
