Certified Public Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. As a CPA, you will play a significant role in the overall financial management and success of our organization. Your expertise and knowledge in accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial analysis will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Responsibilities:
1. Perform a wide range of accounting and financial tasks, including processing financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing financial statements.
2. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
3. Compile, analyze, and reconcile financial data to assist in making informed business decisions.
4. Prepare and review tax returns, including corporate, individual, and partnership tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
5. Conduct regular and thorough financial audits to identify potential discrepancies, errors, or frauds.
6. Provide strategic financial planning and analysis, helping to optimize financial performance and identify areas for improvement or cost reduction.
7. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather financial and accounting information and provide expert guidance and advice.
8. Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting rules and regulations, tax laws, and financial trends to remain knowledgeable and ensure compliance.
9. Develop and implement effective accounting and financial controls to mitigate financial risks and enhance the overall financial health of the organization.
10. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and sensitive business data.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's degree and/or CPA certification preferred.
2. Proven work experience as a Certified Public Accountant, ideally in a managerial or supervisory role.
3. Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, tax regulations, and financial analysis.
4. Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial personnel.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong sense of ethics, integrity, and professionalism when handling financial matters.
9. Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) is a plus.
10. Experience in conducting financial audits and implementing internal controls is highly desired.
