Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support manufacturing by ensuring products meet customer expectations and requirements

• Maintain a clean work area by cleaning glassware, surface areas, and lab equipment

• Perform in-process and final product testing on production batches

• Ability to learn and operate various analytical equipment

• Analyze data, interpret results, and troubleshoot as needed

• Communicate atypical results to production supervisors

• Inspect and verify raw materials meet specifications

• Release batch data and products for shipping

• Enter data into internal databases

• Assist with batch adjustments as specified in lab test procedures or test summaries

• Prepare hazardous and reactive mixtures

• Prepare reagents and standards

• Perform routine calibrations

• Assist with inventory maintenance of laboratory supplies

• Ensure waste containment is labeled and disposed of properly

• Demonstrate a commitment to safety

• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by manager

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:

• No analytical laboratory experience required, 1 year preferred

• Associate’s degree in chemistry or related field of study or 5 years industry experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Must be flexible to possibility of overtime and weekend hours

• Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time

• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
