  • Experience in a factory setting, stamping or any type of production equipment preferred
  • Prior press machine operator experience a plus
  • Dexterity and comfortable working with hands a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Quality oriented, attention to detail
  • Safety oriented
  • Self-starter and work with minimal supervision after initial training period
  • Able to stand on feet and be mobile for duration of shift (physically demanding)
Responsibilities / Activities:
  • Operate press machines to create products according to specifications
  • Manipulate steel stock in and out of stamping equipment, experience with cranes and other lifting equipment a plus
  • Keep daily basic production/cycle counts, computer data entry for scanning and logging production counts
  • General labor activities such as routine cleaning, trash removal, basic groundskeeping or assist in other production activities.
Education / Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in the stamping industry or piece/part manufacturing is preferred
  • Computer literacy (Windows/Office environment)
Physical Demands:
  • Standing and walking – 95%; Sitting – 5%.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
