We are seeking a highly motivated Pharmacy Technician I to join our team. The Pharmacy Technician I will work under the direct supervision of the pharmacist to provide medication and other healthcare products to patients and consumers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills. Enjoy a Health Center environment working Monday- Friday, with no weekends required


Responsibilities:

- Assist pharmacists in preparing prescribed medication by counting tablets, labeling bottles, and packaging medication

- Collect, organize, and evaluate patient information

- Manage medication distribution and inventory

- Provide drug information and education to patients or consumers

- Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, stocking shelves, and operating cash registers



Requirements:

Qualifications:

- National Certification (CPhT) (required within 90 days of employment).

- Kansas State Board of Pharmacy registration is required.

- Previous experience in Pharmacy or the healthcare industry is required.

- At least 1-year experience with prescription order entry is required.
