Café/Kitchen Manager – American Ninja Warrior Adventure Park, Denver


Inspired by the NBC’s popular TV show American Ninja Warrior heading into its 16th season, this one-of-a-kind adventure park experience includes truss obstacles such as Monkey Swings, Spider Walls, Tilting Logs, Floating Bridges and of course the famous Warped Wall. In addition to the truss obstacles, there's a 10,000 + square foot. inflatable obstacle course and challenge area, and a multi-level soft play area for our guests ages 8 and under. The revolutionary adventure park combines fitness and fun, providing participants an opportunity to master their ninja skills.


The Café/Kitchen Manager (referred to in Park and for the remainder of this as Café Manager) oversees all things food and beverage within the park. There is huge potential for career progression as we are looking to open over 100 sites in the USA. The right individual will have experience working in a multi-faceted service led leisure or hospitality environment.


Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in Supervisor role in a mid-high volume production kitchen. This is a part time position that requires weekday and weekend availability.

What will I be doing?


As a Café Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing and participating in the preparation of food items as established by the recipes and standards that American Ninja Warrior Adventure Park’s has set forth in an effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, performing the following tasks to the highest standards:


Back of House and Front of House operations


· Oversee and prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards.

· Oversee and maintain cleanliness and food sanitation.

· Manage customer orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.

· Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products

· Stock and maintain par levels for designated food station(s)

· Place orders for products from approved vendors.

· Inspect and maintain kitchen and cafe equipment.

· Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen.

· Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations.

· Verify that Front of House Team Members are accurately taking orders in a friendly and efficient manner.

· Oversee the cleanliness of the café seating area.

· Open or Close the Café as needed based on scheduling, and if you are not there ensuring that all procedures are being followed.


Administrative


· Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, assisting with evaluations, training, assigning work assisting the Assistant General Manager in scheduling Team Members and delivering recognition and rewards.

· Assist the Management Team in the hiring process of Team Members

· Drive the culture of safety and customer service throughout all aspects of American Ninja Warrior Adventure Park

· Aid in the building of our amazing Culture.

· Review sales and revenue numbers.

· Create and present strategies to drive sales to the General Manager and District Manager.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

· Able to work flexible hours, weekdays, and weekends.

· Two to four years of supervisory experience in a mid-volume culinary operation is preferred.

· Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, food products, and food service equipment.

· Able to work in a team environment as well as independently.

· Proficient in using a computer, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Ability to learn new software products quickly.

· Outstanding work ethic and a passion to succeed.

· Valid Driver’s License.

· Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.

· Able to demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

· Able to handle multiple priorities and tasks in a fast paced, busy environment.

· Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

· Serv Safe Certified.
