The Position:

The Permanency Support Specialist works to ensure relevant training and resources are provided to potential adoptive families who have been providing foster care. This position will actively keep relationships alive in order to ensure positive ongoing connects to Christian Heritage so that they may flourish.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing communication and support to adoptive families.
  • Strengthens Christian Heritage’s connection to adoptive families by building positive relationships with each.
  • Facilitates 7 Core Issues of Adoption training and resources available for pre- and post-adoptive families.
  • Communicates, plans, and facilitates bimonthly adoption support group(s).


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma
  • Two years of experience in foster care or social services-type work is preferred
  • Must identify as a follower of Jesus
