Position Summary:
Edu-Tech Academic Solutions is seeking a dynamic Technology Innovation Teacher for one of our partner schools in Newark, Delaware. The Innovation Teacher will foster creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills among K-8 students, faculty, and staff through innovative technology experiences. This role plays a key part in advancing the school's STEM initiatives and design spaces, supporting the development of a technologically enriched learning environment. The Technology Innovation Teacher should be an experienced classroom teacher with a passion for STEM, project-based learning and working with learners of all ages.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate technology-driven learning experiences for K-8 students
  • Empower students to become critical thinkers and problem-solvers
  • Integrate STEM principles into the instructional program
  • Promote safe and ethical use of digital media and tools
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate technology
  • Establish educational technology norms and goals
  • Contribute expertise to create collaborative design spaces
  • Provide faculty in-service training on technology integration
  • Provide technology support to students and faculty
  • Assist with budgeting and ordering

Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

  • Degree in education, science, technology, or related field
  • Minimum three years of education experience
  • Strong passion for technology
  • Knowledge of educational technologies
  • Interest in coaching robotics

Additional Information:
This is a 10-month position following the school's academic calendar, with occasional paid work during the summer as needed.
