  • Culture Management:
    • Monitor and maintain a participative and empowered organizational culture.

    • Lead efforts to manage co-worker relations, ensuring alignment with HR best practices and organizational goals.
  • Compensation & Merit Systems:
    • Oversee the administration of merit systems and compensation programs, ensuring fair and equitable treatment across various job roles.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Conduct research and analyze data to support decision-making processes. Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior leadership.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Provide direction and support to HR staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and HR regulations, minimizing risk to the organization.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, such as Director or Assistant Director, focusing on co-worker relations.

  • Co-Worker Relations:
    • Extensive knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures in Human Resource Management, specifically in co-worker relations.
  • Merit Systems & Compensation:
    • In-depth understanding of merit systems, including job content analysis, qualifications, educational and training requirements, and wage and salary administration.
  • Statistical & Analytical Expertise:
    • Strong proficiency in statistical concepts, methods, and data collection procedures. Ability to research, analyze data, and develop valid conclusions, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Office Management & Recordkeeping:
    • Considerable knowledge of modern office management and recordkeeping practices.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent ability to prepare comprehensive reports and effectively communicate ideas both orally and in writing.
  • Leadership & Supervision:
    • Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and direct the work of subordinate staff involved in professional, technical, and clerical functions.
  • Judgment & Discretion:
    • Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships across the organization.
  • Legal & Regulatory Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of laws and regulations relating to Human Resources.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business or Public Administration, Human Resource Management, or a closely related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
Certificates, Licenses:
  • Preferred Certifications:
    • Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification, either SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.
    • Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) certification, either PHR or SPHR.
