This organization has been around for over 70 years and is rapidly expanding programs and services to the high-risk community in Queens.


Were on the hunt for a passionatePsychiatristwith a heart for the underserved and a thirst to make a difference. This role will involve bothsupervision/administrative duties and clinical work (seeing patients).


As theMedical Director,youll serve as the Clinical Leader overseeing a total staff of around 35 including 5 NPs and 2 Psychiatrists. Youll oversee all programs(Mental Health, SUD, Adolescent etc.)approving treatment plans, charting and documentation, and prescription medications.


Youll have the opportunity to grow within the organization as more programs and grants are added in the future This is your chance to get in with a dynamic group of individuals taking strides to offer the best Mental Health services in the area

Requirements:

  • BC in Psychiatry
  • Knowledge of Article 31 clinics/OMH Requirements
  • Knowledge of Mental Health Diagnoses (including schizophrenia, bipolar, acute psychosis)
  • Knowledge of SUD treatment and MAT
  • Experience with children/adolescents as well as adult population
