Network Engineer III
Unison Systems is looking for a Network Engineer III with DOCSIS and EPON experience for our national telecommunications client. This will be a long-term month contract.Our client is located out of Englewood, CO and offers 1 remote day a week.Candidates must be local as we frequently need to physically touch hardware inside of the lab.Cable industry and lab experience is a must have.
Job duties will include the following: Plans and implements enterprise networks and related hardware and software.Designs and documents network architecture.Performs assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps. Establishes security (firewalls, intrusion detection), connectivity and access parameters. Provides recommendations to optimize network infrastructure. Tests and tunes security devices and systems. Programs routers and switches. Implements communications technologies (data or voice). Manages network services from planning phase through implementation.Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies and network infrastructure is required.5- 10years of experience.
