Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate dental prostheses, including dentures, crowns, bridges, and orthodontic appliances.

  • Repair and adjust dental prosthetic appliances as needed.

  • Collaborate with dentists to interpret prescriptions and ensure precise fabrication.

  • Utilize dental laboratory equipment and materials efficiently and safely.

  • Maintain accurate records of dental prosthetics and related work.

  • Adhere to all safety, security, and infection control protocols.

  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Dental Technician (CDT) from an accredited program (Certified Dental Laboratory)

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in a dental laboratory setting.

  • Proficiency in dental anatomy, materials, and laboratory procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively within a correctional environment.
