THE OPPORTUNITY:

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this position is accountable for overall supervision and productivity of assigned teams, including effective communication with team members regarding priorities, work load and deadlines.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4pm-2am


A Typical Day (job functions) | Motivate + Monitor + Check-in + Direct + Lead

  • Ensure team members are appropriately trained in the areas of job responsibility, safety, and company policy
  • Motivate all team members to achieve personal and department success
  • Monitor daily attendance and punctuality; keep Workday updated and process bi-weekly payroll sign-off procedures
  • Conduct weekly check-ins with team and report performance issues to Operations Manager
  • Conduct quarterly performance and yearly increase reviews with employees in conjunction with Operations Manager
  • Manage and direct daily priorities set by Operations Manager
  • Understand and utilize production reports and work orders to organize and manage priorities
  • Request help from other areas to meet goals
  • Promote a healthy and energetic work environment in accordance with Lakeshirt's values
  • Maintain Lakeshirts' acceptable standard of quality; meet goals in the area of garments per employee hour, on time percentages and error rate
  • Follow safety practices. Identify problems and work to resolve safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards
  • Work actively with others in the department and company to achieve positive results
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills (qualifications) | Excellent Leadership + Effective Communication + People-Oriented

  • High school education
  • Supervisory background/experience required
  • Train the Trainer Program and LEAD workshop completion preferred but not required
  • Must have strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to get results through the team
  • Must have knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), problem resolution, sound judgment, pro-active, people-oriented, flexible, organized, diplomatic, strong listening skills, reliable, enthusiastic, courteous, and result oriented
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Hours must be flexible according to workloads
  • Must be highly organized with ability to work with deadlines and changing priorities
  • Displays an attitude of respect at all times
