Responsibilities
- Patient Scheduling: Coordinate patient schedules and appointments, ensuring efficient use of therapist time and minimizing delays.
- Patient Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
- Patient Registration: Greet patients, update demographics, and obtain necessary insurance information.
- Medical Records Management: Manage patient records, including documentation, filing, and scanning.
- Billing and Insurance: Process patient payments, handle billing inquiries, and ensure accurate insurance verification.
- Therapist Support: Communicate with physical therapists regarding patient care, schedules, and documentation.
- Compliance: Ensure HIPAA compliance, maintain patient confidentiality, and adhere to company policies.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter patient information, appointments, and payments into our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Front Office Management: Maintain a clean and organized front office, manage supplies, and perform various administrative tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with physical therapists, assistants, and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and patient-centered approach.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in physical therapy.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs).
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Work Environment
- Physical therapy clinic or outpatient setting.
- Frequent interaction with patients, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Sit for extended periods and use a computer and phone regularly.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $42.00 - $57.00/hour.
