Position Overview: As a Host/Receptionist at Eximius Associates, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a seamless and positive experience from the moment they arrive. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a warm and approachable demeanour, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage the reception area, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
  • Handle reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met.
  • Provide information about our services, events, and facilities, assisting guests with inquiries and offering recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organised front desk area, ensuring it is equipped with necessary materials and presents a professional appearance.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and filing.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service and communication.
  • Monitor guest access, ensuring security and compliance with company policies.
  • Handle guest concerns and complaints with professionalism, ensuring any issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist, host, or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, reservation software, and basic office equipment.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality or office administration are a plus.
