Job DescriptionJob Description

Summary of Position:

This position will be responsible for assembling tank trailers in preparation for final inspection. The individual will be responsible for installing the following: Pump drive system, lighting system, air system, wheels and tires, customer logos and DOT placards and product labels and additional duties as assigned by Supervisor. In addition, the position will require the ability to read WORK Orders, prints, and perform final post installation inspections. The position is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Finish Shop daily. The position will require teamwork and close coordination with internal and external customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, while maintaining an accurate record of material used to finish the project. This position requires focus and attention to detail to ensure vehicles are finished according to Work Order and Customer Specification.

This position reports to the Finish Shop Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds required.
  • Ability to identify and measure material.
  • Ability to produce quality products consistently.
  • Ability to work safely and follow safety regulations.
  • Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form.
  • Must be dependable with a strong work ethic.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED.

Certification from a two-year college or technical school a plus.
