The Audit Supervisor role is central to independently performing test work during complex audit activities for Lines of Business (LOBs). This position covers audits for businesses such as equity capital markets, debt capital markets, investment banking, corporate banking coverage, and leasing. Additionally, the role involves working with global teams, including those based in EMEA and APAC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit Strategy Execution: Define audit scope and audit programs, utilizing risk-based auditing and innovative methods.
  • Control Environment Evaluation: Apply product, business, and technical expertise to challenge management and improve controls.
  • Impact Assessment: Assess business processes, controls, and strategies, providing recommendations on severity ratings.
  • Audit Reporting: Contribute to draft audit reports and share results with business leaders.
  • Team Development: Support and mentor peers and foster an inclusive work environment.
  • Business Partner Relationships: Develop business knowledge by establishing strong relationships with line management.
  • Innovative Audit Tools: Use automation and analytic techniques to complete audit activities more efficiently.
  • Project Support: Manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in internal audit, front office business control, compliance, or risk management covering corporate and investment banking (GCIB) business.
  • At least 2 years of experience auditing the Investment Banking Business within a GCIB.
  • Experience with risk and control identification and assessment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, with a positive attitude, sense of ownership, flexibility, and intellectual curiosity.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in coaching and developing less experienced team members.
  • Previous experience working in a large global bank.
  • Relevant qualifications such as CFA, CPA, FRM, or CIA.
