Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaintenance TechnicianPay Rate: $30.00 - $31.73 based on qualifications and experienceLocation: Eagan, MNHours: 1st shift 7am-3:30pm Monday- Friday The Maintenance Mechanic ensures reliability of machinery and equipment by completing preventative maintenance on machines, systems and establishment.Responsibilities:
  • Perform work safely and in compliance with company policies
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate
  • Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions
  • Uses hand tools and measuring instruments to determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts
  • Assembles, installs, adjusts, and calibrates mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment
  • Maintain documents and records
Requirements:
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow blueprints, shop routings and specific engineering notes related to unique customer specifications
  • Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions to team members
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
