1. Work as a Structural CAD Technician to create detailed scale plans for wood, concrete, and steel construction.
2. Assist in creating and maintaining construction specification plans using CAD software.
3. Provide hardcopy and electronic drawings for internal and external uses.
4. Review project scope provided by engineer or contractor based on architectural drawings and specifications.
5. Draw rough and detailed plans for commercial buildings and residential structures.
6. Generate windstorm, foundation, and framing plans.
7. Familiarize with local building codes and permitting requirements.
8. Review and certify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to drafting and design standards.
9. Provide support to field teams on questions or issues related to designs/drawings.
10. Possess 5 years of experience with AutoCAD and structural design experience.
11. Proficiency in Civil3D is preferred.
12. Experience with construction is beneficial.
13. Ability to work with Microsoft Office suite.
14. Possess strong math skills.
15. Excellent communication skills with project team, government agencies, and clients.
16. Strong professional work ethic.
17. Capable of working in a team or independently with minimal supervision.
18. Positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
