Instructor - STEM - Details
- Work 2-4 afternoons per week

Instructor- STEM- Benefits and Perks - Hourly $15.00 - $17.00 pay rate
- Part Time 2:30 - 5/6 PM; 2024-25 program duration (August - June)
- Paid training and professional development
- Work/Life balance, no weekends, no summer
- Strive for ratio of 1 instructor per 15 students

- Implement the iKids lesson plans
- Lead and supervise elementary-age children during after-school activities
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for children
- May lift 5-30 lbs; anticipate physical demands of a standard classroom and playground setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent, required (18 years of age minimum)
- CPR and First Aid certification, iKids will provide as needed
- Clear background/ fingerprinting : Eligible status required
- Available a minimum of (2) days a week
- Exposure to STEM activities like chess, "Lego"-based robotics, coding, experiments, and strategy games
- Experience working with children preferably in a classroom, after-school, workshop, or camp setting
- Training provided in age-appropriate activities; behavior management techniques, and more
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Independent, reliable transportation / support multiple campuses weekly
