- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- The ability to demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of safe food handing standards and beverage management.
- Computer knowledge/skills required, including Windows, Microsoft Excel and word processing.
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Associates must, at all times, be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests and fellow associates.
- Maintain radio contact throughout shift, responding to all inquiries in a timely manner using proper etiquette.
- Keep immediate supervisor informed of all matters requiring their immediate attention.
- Work with and understand financial data and basic arithmetic functions.
- Receive food and beverage items in a manner prescribed by F&B operations as it relates to proper rotation (FIFO), stocking and storage.
- Ensure proper operation of freezers, refrigerators, and walk-in coolers and notify management of any equipment repairs needed.
- Verify proper temperature controls are in place (TCS).
- Issue food and beverage goods by following proper procedures prescribed by Q Center policies, which include recording and delivery to only authorized associates.
- Keep dock, storerooms, freezers, and coolers organized, swept and mopped.
- Maintain par levels for all items as required by management.
- Accurately record all items received and issued to minimize variances; use computer and proper system to record all transactions.
- Assist Food & Beverage inventories.
