Title of Position:Restaurant General Manager

Job Description:TheRestaurant General Managerwill oversee other members of the management team as well as oversee all daily functions of the restaurant. The main responsibilities of this manager will be identifying and estimating the qualities of food, beverages, and supplies to be ordered, scheduling staff work and activities, evaluating health and safety practices against standards, making decisions, and solving problems concerning menus and staff. TheRestaurant General Managerwill also monitor food preparation and cleaning methods, inspect equipment and food deliveries, and monitor and oversee purchasesandmenus. The Restaurant General Manager will motivate staff by promoting a healthy and upbeat work environment. TheRestaurant General Managerwillparticipate in company-sponsored events, including local events and trade shows, and will build relationships within the community.

Qualifications:

  • TheRestaurant General Managershould possess 3+ years of high-volume restaurant management experience

  • TheRestaurant General Managershould have a high degree of honesty, integrity, and a guest-oriented philosophy
  • TheRestaurant General Managershould have open availability
  • Bar-B-Que experience a plus
