CRI is looking to hire a mid-level administrative support individual in the Washington DC/Metro area to fulfill the Purchasing Specialist role within our company’s Integrated Security Solutions division.  This person will lead tasks related to purchasing, to include pricing quote/proposal support, inventory management, as well as material ordering, tracking, shipping and coordination of equipment replacement and repair for projects across the division. 


Position qualifications and experience include:

  • Must be a highly organized and detail oriented to manage multiple areas of responsibility.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to correspond with a variety of people including upper management.
  • Experience in management of the purchasing life cycle from developing pricing quotes for equipment/material purchases, ordering, tracking and troubleshooting.
  • Experience maintaining/building effective relationship with company vendors and subcontractors.
  • Coordination with project managers, corporate staff, product vendors and subcontractors to resolve issues.
  • Maintenance and tracking inventory of a wide variety of parts and materials.
  • Experience with invoicing and billing processes as well as general accounting practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • High level of attention to detail
