As a Physical Therapy Aide at PRN Physical Therapy, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Patient Interaction:
    • Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth.
    • Educate patients on exercises, proper body mechanics and posture
  • Administrative Support:
    • Collect copays and schedule follow up visits
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Liaise effectively between patients, clinical staff, and other departments within the facility.
    • Communicate clearly and professionally to address patient concerns or questions.
  • Office Operations:
    • Maintain a clean and organized gym area.
    • Assist in managing inventory and ordering office supplies as needed.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to stand, sit, and move around the gym for extended periods.
    • Ability to demonstrate proper technique of exercises for all body parts
    • Occasional lifting of office supplies or materials up to 20 pounds.
    • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a physical therapy aide role
  • Proficiency in using office software and scheduling systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and documentation.
