Reports to: President, Office Manager, Commercial Manager

Job Summary: The Commercial Project Manager oversees scheduling and job designation for commercial electrical projects, working with Foremen and contractors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the primary contact for job walk-throughs and layouts
  • Monitoring employee techniques, enforcing safety, and ensuring adherence to procedures and electrical codes
  • Checking timelines, aesthetics, functionality, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Organizing equipment and coordinating material release
  • Tracking and billing expenses and additional work
  • Completing required paperwork (job logs, change orders, O&M manuals, submittals)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid State of Iowa Journeyman License or higher
  • 5 years of related experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or better
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, phones, email
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Physical Demands:

  • Occasionally stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Talk, hear, taste, or smell
  • Occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds, use machinery for larger objects
  • Vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, adjust focus
