The Opportunity
As we continue to push the limits of immersive technology, we are seeking a dynamic PR Director to elevate our brand and amplify our narrative on the global stage. In this role, you will spearhead our communications strategy, fostering strong relationships with media, partners, and stakeholders. Your expertise will help us showcase Varjo's groundbreaking work and secure our position as a leader in the XR industry.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy to enhance Varjo's brand visibility and reputation globally.•Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets, industry influencers, and strategic partners.•Lead the creation of compelling content, including press releases, thought leadership pieces, and case studies that highlight Varjo's innovations and industry impact.•Oversee media relations, including responding to inquiries, coordinating interviews, and managing crisis communications.•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and sales, to align messaging and ensure consistency across all channels.•Drive PR campaigns that resonate with target audiences and position Varjo as a visionary leader in the XR space.
Your Profile
•Proven experience in public relations, with a focus on technology, innovation, or related fields.•Strong network of media contacts and a track record of securing high-impact coverage.•Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.•Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.•Passion for immersive technology, with an understanding of the XR landscape and its potential to transform industries.•Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
