Interested in private practice? Nervous about making the transition from community mental health agencies? Join us and see how we make it fun and easy to be part of a group practice that functions like an extended family
At Open Space Counseling, Consulting & Wellness (Open Space CCW), our mission is to eliminate fear of judgment as a barrier to personal growth and wellness. Open Space CCW was founded in 2018 with a vision of creating a safe, inclusive, and progressive space where people can move from merely surviving to truly thriving--for both our employees and our clients. We have created a safe space that is a “one-stop shop” for anyone who feels “other” or believes that their “stuff” will be judged. Our priority is to create a family-like atmosphere among our team where autonomy and self-care are a major part of our culture (and not just talked about). Open Space CCW is a LGBTQIA+ affirming, relationship minority affirming, and racial justice-oriented therapy group. Join our growing team
WORKPLACE CULTURE - WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE TO WORK HERE?
- We swear. We have tattoos & piercings. We have colorful hair. We are a team of fun and accepting misfits who show up authentically as ourselves to serve our communities
- We are advocates, and practice from an anti-oppressive framework. That means we call out bullsht when we see it and work to disrupt systems that are harmful.
- We actually enjoy spending time together - sometimes that looks like going to happy hours together and dancing, playing virtual game nights, sharing funny stories through virtual PowerPoint parties, finding the most ridiculous memes, emo prom night pool parties, etc. The point is we like to connect together as humans
- Nearly every employee in a leadership, management, or supervisor capacity has been promoted internally. We want to support your growth and passion no matter what form that looks like.
- We don't work in silos. Everyone here works collaboratively and we value your opinion - you’ll never feel isolated.
- We like REALLY love fur-babies here. Send us photos of your pets, we want to see them. Many of our animals join us during our online group supervision sessions and team meetings - trust us, we want to meet them
- We provide all of our pre-licensed therapists with a licensure supervisor who is not your immediate manager, so you can show up authentically with doubts, fears, and insecurities in supervision and not have to worry about that being held against you. We want you to grow and combat that imposter syndrome that we all have as therapists
- We recognize almost everyone comes to work with a history of workplace trauma and toxic workplace cultures - we will actively work to undue that damage here and make space for you to breathe a little easier.
