We’re seeking a Regional Director of Medical Records/Central Supply to be based out of the Dallas/Fort Worth area Reliability, trustworthiness and consistency with regard to attendance is extremely important to this job. The ability to regularly and timely attend work, cooperative and politely work and deal with others, and to effectively multi-task and work in a stressful environment are also essential functions to this job.

KNOWLEDGE BASE:

  • Health Information Management background with emphasis on medical terminology.
  • Basic clerical and office function skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Compliance rounds in central supply storage areas of facility.
  • Tracking and ordering of Rental nursing equipment.
  • Organize and maintain facility medical records system in compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assist with development of record policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a documented, organized system which is readily accessible by others.
  • Prepare reports as requested.
  • Conduct resident chart audits as assigned.
  • Review and approval of purchase orders for nursing supplies and equipment.
