The Inventory and Logistics Clerk is responsible for supporting the inventory control and management processes within Power Innovations supply chain and logistics operations. This role involves accurately recording, monitoring, and tracking inventory levels, performing routine inventory counts, and assisting in maintaining organized inventory storage areas. The Inventory Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate inventory records, efficient stock management and timely fulfillment of orders.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Inventory Recording and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in databases or inventory management systems.
  • Enter new inventory items, update quantities, and record movement of goods in the system.
  • Ensure data integrity by conducting regular checks for discrepancies and errors.

 Routine Inventory Counts:

  • Perform regular physical counts of inventory items to verify their accuracy against system records.
  • Reconcile and discrepancies between physical counts and system data.
  • Report finding to supervisors and inventory managers.

 Order Fulfillment support:

  • Assist in picking and packing inventory items for orders as needed.
  • Ensure that items are correctly labeled and packaged for shipping
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment

Inventory Organization:

  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
  • Arrange items in a logical and easily accessible manner to facilitate efficient picking and restocking.
  • Rotate stock to prevent product expiration or obsolescence.

Data Entry and Reporting:

  • Generate routine inventory reports, including stock levels, stock movement and consumption rates.
  • Prepare reports on slow-moving or obsolete items for management review.

Compliance and record Keeping:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedure related to inventory management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inventory-related activities for audit purposes.

 

This is a full time on site position working Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
