Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Mold Setter/Process Technician (Direct Hire)
Position Summary:Under the direction of the Shop Foreman, this position will perform equipment change overs; material change overs, press startups, press operator, etc.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Responsible for all mold changes done per the production schedule and all emergency mold changes
  • Responsible for the proper set-up of all die related functions such as watering of the mold, knockout, hot runner set-up, hydraulics, pneumatics etc
  • Operate and clean various molding machines
  • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Shop Foreman.
  • Conduct equipment changeovers to accommodate schedule & demands
  • Stage raw materials at work stations using a forklift
  • Record production outputs
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations for set-ups, etc.
  • Adhere to good housekeeping standards at work stations
  • Work with teammates and other employees to generate efficiency, quality, and safety improvements
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of manufacturing with Injection, blow molding, and RIM press equipment experience.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.
  • Ability to manipulate tools to complete job tasks.
  • Good attention to detail and problem solving skills
