We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at the Lonesome Dove in the Stockyards. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. If you have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and a background in food service management, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other Sous Chef to develop menus and create innovative dishes.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed.
- Oversee food production and presentation, maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fine dining establishment.
- Strong knowledge of food service management principles and practices.
- Must obtain a Texas Food Managers Permit by first day of employment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in food handling and preparation techniques.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of restaurant management software is a plus.
