Full Charge Bookkeeper

Position Overview: As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our clients company's financial records. Responsibilities of the Full Charge Bookkeeper:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, bill payments, and collections.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and process payroll, including calculating wages, taxes, and deductions, and issuing paychecks or direct deposits.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring, including tracking expenses and identifying variances.
  • Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, and other regulatory filings as required.
  • Assist with the annual audit process, including providing supporting documentation and answering auditor inquiries.


Minimum Qualifications for the Full Charge Bookkeeper:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a full charge bookkeeper or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative to solve problems and improve processes.
