Spee-Dee Delivery is looking for a self-motivated and independent worker who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. As the Warehouse Operations Parker/Fueler, you are responsible for ensuring vehicles complete the process of being fueled, unloaded, washed, and parked. You will also assist operations with accurate sorting of freight.

Hours and Wages:

  • Full-Time: Monday- Friday, 5:00PM- completion.
  • Paid OT at time and a half after 40 hours per week
  • Starting wage: $18.50-$20.50 per hour, plus shift differential

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drives empty fleet vehicles to the appropriate location to be washed and parked
  • Oversees truck washing employees to ensure all vehicles are washed thoroughly
  • Parks fleet vehicles in the appropriate route docks
  • Carries a radio and reports to terminals for vehicle swaps
  • Communicates with the Fleet Maintenance departments regarding vehicle changes
  • Supports warehouse staff with sorting freight
  • Sorts, loads, and unloads freight in a safe and accurate manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age and hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record which meets company standards
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission, or have the willingness to learn
  • Ability to read labels at a fast pace and work with a full range of motion with no limits to standing, squatting, stair climbing, overhead lifting, walking, and lifting freight weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to work with all types of freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous materials, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
