CareSTL Health is seeking a professional Grants Manager to join our family


POSITION SUMMARY: The Grants Manager plans, directs and monitors all organization

grants activities. Collaborating with owners of grants assigned to the organization to ensure the

requirements of the grants are being met, including staff allocation, budgeting, and reporting.

This position has responsibility for demonstrating the core values of CareSTL Health: Customer

Service, Community, Commitment, Compassion, and Competence.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The following information is considered the definition of essential functions but does not restrict

the tasks that may be assigned. The Grants Manager may be reassigned duties and

responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staffing reasons. Other

duties may be assigned.

  1. Responsible for reviewing memoranda of understandings, agreements, and approval

letters for grants

  1. Maintains permanent files including successful proposals, all award documents and

correspondence with grant officers that affect funding or other agreement terms and

conditions.

  1. Tracking progress toward organizational and programmatic outcomes and goals.

Assembling all necessary supporting materials and documents including budget reports,

outcome measurements, success stories, etc.; submit reports to funders and investors.

  1. 4. Throughout the grant life cycle, effective communication and working relationships with

internal and external partners to support institutional compliance

  1. Collaborate with colleagues, divisional leaders, and stakeholders to gather application

information.


OTHER FUNCTIONS:

■ Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, and procedures related

to new grants

∙ Collaboration with owners of grants, to ensure reports are submitted in a timely manner.

■ Oversee the job of invoicing, accounting, reporting, and other administrative functions to

ensure successful execution of grant process.

∙ Provide training to the new frontline staff and leaders on grants management and

reporting requirements.

∙ Develop reports on progress status of grants; including deliverables and budget

∙ A collaborative work style, with a high level of integrity, attention to detail and excellent

interpersonal skills.


JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

∙ Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance, Law or other relevant field of

study

Experience:

∙ Grant Management 1-3 years (required)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

∙ Understanding of governmental regulations and reporting requirements

∙ Good oral and verbal communication skills.

∙ Good organizational and self-motivational skills.

∙ Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously

Transportation Requirement:

∙ Must have reliable transportation

Supervisory Responsibility:

∙ None

  • Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
