About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our organization as a Publishing Accelerator Coach. As a coach, you will play a crucial role in our student's success and, therefore, the company's success. You are the face of the company. Students know and respect a coach for their knowledge, perspective, and experience.
It is imperative student success is the foundation of your role and you possess the confidence and conviction to guide them along their publishing journey. The most significant impact you can have is bringing students over the publishing finish line with a quality product.
Please note: To be considered for this role, you must be a member of Audiobook Income Academy and have published at least one full-length book.
Responsibilities
- Assist students in our Publishing Accelerator program with setting their publishing career goals, improving their habits, and keeping them on track and accountable.
- Achieve internal KPIs, analyze data, and track student progress.
- Document calls and student progress inside our CRM (Hubspot).
- Support students in our program while conveying our company image, brand voice, and positive personality.
- Build a rapport with students, help them get results, and remove roadblocks.
- Engage in potentially difficult conversations with students to help them succeed.
- Proactively reach out to students before and after coaching calls to ensure they take action on what was discussed and reach their goals.
- Explain program concepts through live Zoom calls and recorded videos.
- Play a vital role in recommending updates or improvements to the course or company.
- Work closely with the VIP support team to ensure students feel supported.
- Take on additional responsibilities such as but not limited to: workshops, Q/A calls, and ad-hoc tasks.
- To be considered for this role, you must be a member of Audiobook Income Academy and have published at least one book.
- Access to a laptop or computer with a reliable internet connection.
- Previous experience in a coach, consultant, or customer support role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Genuine passion for contributing to the success of Publishing.com and its students.
- Highly motivated and organized with a positive attitude.
- Proven experience as a true team player, problem solver, and critical thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working in a fully remote team environment.
- Excellent at multitasking and time management.
- Tech-first mindset with a focus on efficiency, automation, and AI.
- Experience using Hubspot, Zoom, Loom, Intercom, Acuity, and Slack preferred.
