Position: Lead Investment Banker

Our Client, a leading investment banking firm in San Francisco, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their team as a Lead Investment Banker. As the Lead Investment Banker, you will play a critical role in managing and executing transactions, providing strategic advice and guidance to clients, and driving business development efforts.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the execution of M&A, IPO, and other capital raising transactions

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including C-suite executives and key decision-makers

- Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence on potential transactions

- Provide strategic advice and guidance to clients on complex financial and business matters

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, accounting, and marketing, to ensure successful deal execution

- Stay up-to-date on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to inform investment decisions

- Participate in business development efforts, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities

- Mentor and train junior team members, providing guidance and support for their professional development

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

- 7+ years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on M&A and capital raising transactions

- Strong understanding of financial analysis, valuation techniques, and financial modeling

- Proven track record of successfully managing and executing complex transactions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues

- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Series 79 and 63 licenses preferred
