Job Purpose:

Prepares accounting reports and ensures accounting systems and record keeping.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly reconciliations and roll forwards of assigned accounts. Investigate and correct any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and post journal entries as assigned
  • Provide documentation to internal and external parties, including management and auditors
  • Various ad hoc projects and reporting as requested
  • Maintain expense reporting system
  • Perform weekly uploads into the GL
  • Track aging transactions/reports and follow up to ensure they are submitted and approved
  • Provide training to new users
  • Various ad hoc projects as requested
  • Issue and cancel corporate credits cards based on established procedures and protocol
  • Manage data and run necessary reports to ensure transactions are being paid in a timely manner
  • Be the primary point of contact with the corporate card company and handle issues as they arise
  • Other job duties as requested

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have advanced Excel skills and experience working in an ERP system (Microsoft NAV preferable)
  • Must have a firm understanding of GL accounts and GAAP
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be highly organized, able to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to work in a high volume/high urgency environment
  • Accounting degree preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
