Job Summary
As an Infant/Toddler Teacher at AppleTree Academy, youll help care for the little ones. Youll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development of each child.

Responsibilities
  • Develop lesson plans and learning goals with the Co-teacher
  • Maintain daily records, track student progress and intervene to help students progress as necessary
  • Foster a positive and collaborative learning environment where the unique needs of all students are met
  • Arrange educational activities inside/outside of the classroom and supervise the students during breaks and mealtime
  • Regularly communicate with family members and other staff in order to meet the individual needs of each student
  • Ensure that the classroom environment meets standards for safety and cleanliness

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a preschool environment
  • Strong verbal communicator with an upbeat personality who is comfortable and excels with speaking to parents
  • Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality
  • Shows initiative; strong work ethic
  • High school diploma
