Summary

The Jr. Financial Advisor will work with an established Financial Advisor or team of Advisor’s and help clients achieve their financial goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Observe the Financial Advisor(s) in their interactions with the client and attend/participate in client meetings when appropriate.
  • Assist the Financial Advisor in the creation and completion of client documentation, prepare and provide comprehensive financial planning and investment advice to clients.
  • Serve clients by scheduling appointments, preparing for meetings, problem solving, thorough investment research, issue resolution, financial planning recommendations etc.
  • Collect data from clients to assist the Financial Advisor in preparing financial plans.
  • Assist the branch team in client acquisition activities.

Education and/or Work Experience:

  • Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in financial services
  • College degree preferred (Business, Finance, Sales, or Marketing)
  • Understanding of the financial planning process

Licenses/Registration:

  • Required: Series 7 and 66 or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire
