Job Summary

As a Traveling Medical Assistant, you will play a vital part in our clinics by providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physicians in the delivery of medical services. Your ability to provide on-the-go patient care, assist physicians in delivering medical services, and adapt to different clinic settings makes you indispensable in ensuring efficient operations and maintaining a seamless patient experience across multiple locations. As a Medical Assistant, you are expected to be cross-trained as a patient care/front desk assistant to provide the best customer care service.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will warmly greet and assist patients during home visitations and registration, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience that meets their needs.

  • Recording precise patient medical histories, and vital signs, and conducting basic lab tests will be among your responsibilities.

  • Assisting physicians with examinations, and procedures, and administering medications will also be an essential part of your duties.

  • Ability to adapt to various environments and travel to patients' homes to provide healthcare services.

  • You will play a crucial role in scheduling appointments, managing referrals, and providing patients with education and support.

  • Maintaining patient confidentiality, delivering at-home medical services, and supporting overall clinic operations will be integral to your responsibilities.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or Associate degree holder

  • Completion of an accredited medical assisting program (CMA/RMA preferred).

  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Phlebotomy, and EKG (Electrocardiogram).

  • Proficient knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, anatomy, and basic clinical procedures.

  • Preferred but not required: bilingual skills in Spanish and English, experience in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

  • Tech-savvy, customer service-oriented medical assistant with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Open-minded and adaptable - willing to utilize their skills in various areas to support the entire team.

  • Empathetic and patient - capable of effectively handling diverse personalities and situations that patients may encounter.

  • Ability to travel
