Connect Staffing is currently looking for an experienced Portables Lead Assistant to fill a position at a large gas cylinder facility in Riverside, Ca.


Must have 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE of being alead assistant and working with machinery and equipment


Schedule: Monday- Sunday 6am-3:30pm

Every other weekend off


Requirements of the Lead Assistant associate:

  • Background check
  • Drug Screen
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must have 5 years prior experience in electrical /mechanical maintenance preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge with Microsoft office, MP2, and OSHA regulations
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing PLC's and other computer based control systems
  • Drive alignment in closing orders on time for production and sales orders.
  • Create daily production schedules for Non-Standard value stream to be followed by all shifts to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Job Duties of the Lead Assistant associate:

  • To lead the Non-Standard value stream with expertise and knowledge in the Portables department.
  • Achieve and sustain 100% on-time order closures by aligning all sales and production orders.
  • Support development and improvement of all Non-Standard processes by verifying all procedures and Standard Operating Procedures are up to date and followed.
  • Support plant continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure daily production continuously meets capacity while producing high quality products and meeting safety standards.
  • Direct and train hourly employees in set-up and machine operation, 5S, lean concepts, manufacturing processes, inspection methods, quality requirements, and efficient production of high-pressure composite cylinders in a safe work environment.
