AESC is expanding its footprint in the United States with gigafactories in Kentucky, South Carolina, and Tennessee to meet the growing demand for EV and BESS batteries and strengthen its presence in the North American market. The Kentucky gigafactory in Bowling Green will supply Mercedes-Benz with high-performance battery cell modules. About the RoleThis position is responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of Production Control and Logistics capabilities for US new projects and new plants. The successful candidate will establish a Production Control and Logistics team for new projects and new plants, and transition SCM Operation Capability to the team. This position will also Manage all US plant Production Control and Logistics Operation (Planning, Global Logistics, In-Plant Logistics).
What You Will Do- Design, Implement, Transition SCM capability (Supply Chain Planning, Logistics Flow, Business Process, IT)
- Business Rule / Process Management (Leading Practice), Continuous Improvement (Process, System, Capability, Cost)
- Management Production Control and Logistics Operation (Fulfill customer demand, Cost to Serve, Operation Compliance)
- Lead the US Supply Chain/Logistics team
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or similar background
- 15+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management/Logistics in the automotive industry
- At least 3 or more years of leadership experience
- Experience working in a global or multinational organization
- MBA or Master’s degree
- Experience in Battery or similar energy industries
Domestic and international travel required.
